As soon as the wedding planning is complete, you may be ready to start looking into honeymoon plans. Some couples prefer a shorter honeymoon while others want to be whisked away for a longer period of time. Whether you already know the length of your honeymoon or still planning it, it’s important to know how long the average honeymoon is.
Deciding who you should invite to your wedding can be one of the most stressful and nerve-wracking parts of getting married. There are so many people you’d like to invite, and there’s also your budget limiting your invitations. It doesn’t matter whether you are planning a large or small wedding, you will still need to sit down and figure out who you will invite. Making this decision is usually anything but easy, and having to tell people no is always the worst. Here are my tips to help you determine who you should invite to your wedding, and who you should skip.
Engagement and Wedding Rings are always a little nerve-racking to pick out. There are so many styles, colors, and shapes. You have to find what fits your partner. My husband has a tungsten ring with wood inlaid in the middle and I have a heart shape diamond on a thin band with a wedding band circled with diamonds. I love simple and elegant rings and he wanted a manly ring.
Basically anyone can plan a bachelorette party, so long as they are connected to the bride and the wedding in some way. While the maid of honor (or equivalent) is the traditional choice for planning and hosting the bachelorette party, it is entirely possible for the bride herself to do the same. This doesn’t necessarily mean that a bride hosting her own bachelorette party is a controlling bridezilla or is on the path to becoming one. Some brides want certain things for their bachelorette party, and sometimes there may be issues with maids of honor or bridesmaids honoring those requests.
Date night conversations should be light-hearted, positive, engaging, and focused on the present. And one of the best ways people try to accomplish this is through asking each other questions. Just when you think, “I don’t know what to ask my spouse because I already know pretty much everything about them!” THINK AGAIN!
