, Too Excited to Sleep before Your Wedding Day? How to Look Like You Got the Best Beauty Sleep of Your Life

Weddings are incredible and beautiful, and your wedding should be one of the best days of your life! But oftentimes they can also be very stressful, and that can take a toll on your body and mind. If you’re worried about sleeping the night before, here are some beauty tips to look the part on the big day.

Indulge Your Skin

One of the ways that your fatigue will begin to show is on your skin. Your color might appear to be a little off, or you might be a little pale. Everyone is different, but the fact is that you probably won’t naturally look your best! The key to avoiding this is to give your skin everything it could ever want – both the night before and the morning of. Use your favorite, high-quality face mask to clean yourself up. Use the best cleanser and moisturizer you can find to add that glow. High-quality makeup (foundation especially) can go a long way towards looking good. A word of caution: trying new products can provoke unprecedented skin irritation, so only use what you know!

Give Your Eyes Some Love

Eyes are the window to the soul – and also show the most obvious signs of lacking sleep. You might experience eye bags, redness, or itchiness if you go a whole night without sleeping. You may also find yourself blinking more than normal. Let moisturizing eye drops do the heavy lifting for you here – although you will want to use a brand that you are already accustomed to, for the same reasons cited for the makeup above. Eye-centered makeup is also important; arguably more important than anything else. There are a few things you can try to get rid of under eye bags to help you look more well rested. You can use foundation, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. Curl your eyelashes to add more distracting but stylish aesthetics.

Tastefully Distract

You don’t need to utterly demolish any trace of your physical exhaustion – and if you do, you will likely end up appearing a bit overdone. At worst, your makeup can seem cakey, and your fashion can appear gaudy. So, plan your outfit and your makeup beforehand with your potential fatigue in mind. And if it doesn’t quite cover it, don’t be afraid to adjust!

As taxing as planning and carrying out a wedding can be, try to relax! Ideally, you would sleep soundly and without trouble. But the next best thing is to do your best, no matter what. This is your day, and not even a sleepless night can ruin that. Plan accordingly and you will have nothing to worry about.
